Resume Checkers:
For those coming here to check my resume, there was a WHUPS on the Indeed.com website.
I did not immediately notice but at some point the links on my resume changed from the three example websites that I specified, to just: my StackOverflow account, my GitHub account, and this website. Of all the ones for Indeed to choose...
This is the first website I ever attempted to write. I knew nothing. The underlying code looks like a traffic accident between a plate of spaghetti and a Hungarian goulash. Here are some better sites to showcase my efforts:
- https://metrixplanttech.com - my present employer (now half deleted due to corporate changes)
- http://iberry.ca - a personal project, done in React.js with Node/Express backend
- http://houseofonions.org - a mostly pro bono site for a Catholic charity (PHP/jQuery)
- https://flottec.com - corporate site with custom CMS (React/MaterialUI with Node/Express backend)
- https://flottec.ca - this site is automatically updated when the site above is updated in the CMS
- A screenshot of the data-driven interactive dashboards we've been writing the past five years
- Show this site... Let's see how you started (when done, press F5 to redisplay this message)
This website was created to showcase a desktop app I wrote ten years ago. Originally intended to display random M*A*S*H quotes every few hours, it grew to become a uniquely useful alarm/reminder app. Click here to view a brief video demonstrating its features. Skip to half-way point to see the really useful bit - the repeating alarms.
